I first read about yoga philosophy and the beneficial physiological effects of asanas in a book borrowed from a friend.
In January 2015, I began practicing traditional Mysore-style ashtanga yoga in the mornings at the Bandha Works yoga school, which I have maintained ever since.
In March 2017, I traveled to Mysore city for the first time to study with R. Sharath Jois, the director of the then KPJAYI institution. During my fourth visit to India, in October 2023, I received authorization from him to teach the first series of ashtanga yoga.
