Yoga can bring radical changes in everyone's life, and it is worth starting at any stage of life. However, sometimes our financial circumstances do not allow us to buy a yoga pass, and we may not yet have the routine to start practising at home. The Bandha Works Scholarship can help in exactly such situations, with our yoga school providing the winner with unlimited yoga pass for three months.

To make your yoga practice as effective as possible, in addition to attending the morning Mysore-program, you will receive intensive personal assistance from our teachers. Candidates agree to attend Mysore classes at least three times a week, at times agreed in advance, and to prepare a monthly essay on a specific topic. If you are a beginner ashtanga practitioner, you will be offered a place in the beginners' ashtanga course for the first month. In the second month, the ashtanga Mysore course will prepare you for the individual practice of ashtanga yoga. In the third month, you will be able to participate in the morning Mysore classes.

How to apply for the scholarship

To apply for the scholarship, the applicant must complete the online application form (Google form), which requires Google registration , and attach a cover letter (A4 page, Times New Roman 12 font, 1.5 line spacing, minimum 1 page, maximum 3) describing what this opportunity would offer, how it would help to deepen or start the yoga practice and what circumstances make it difficult to purchase a pass. Don't forget to include your name on the cover letter! Applicants who make it to the second round will be invited to a personal interview where we will select a winner. The winning applicant will have unlimited access to Bandha Works Yoga Studio classes for three months, according to the above schedule. You will also receive a one-to-one consultation session each month to help you deepen your practice and overcome any obstacles that may arise.
