I joined the Bandha Works Yoga School's Mysore program in 2016 and have been maintaining my practice steadily ever since. I used to be a competitive athlete (swimming, then basketball), and the virtues I internalized through training—diligence, perseverance—are still with me on the yoga mat.
In February 2025, Rózsa and I spent one month at the Ashtanga Yoga Center in Bangkok (AYBKK), which follows the tradition of SharathJi. This special period further deepened my faith in consistent, dedicated practice and allowed me to experience its benefits even more profoundly. One of my future aspirations is to teach as well, and to support new practitioners with my enthusiasm and experience.
I'm passionate about creating interviews and articles related to Ashtanga. Recently, through the Bandha Works Blog, readers have mostly encountered the fascinating and thought-provoking writings of Iain Grysak. We would love to expand this repertoire with articles and stories from other respected Ashtanga teachers, as well as relevant contemporary topics (such as nutrition and vegan lifestyle).
One of our future plans is to translate SharathJi’s latest book, The Active Series, into Hungarian—further carrying on his teachings and encouraging as many people as possible to take up yoga practice, regardless of age or ability, in order to preserve and sustain vitality, balance, and a sense of active living.
