Vedanta was born and raised in a Brahmin family, and his life has been deeply immersed in spirituality since early childhood – particularly in the practice of Bhakti Yoga. By the age of 15, meditation had become an integral part of his daily rituals, along with mantra chanting, which he practiced together with his parents during various religious ceremonies both in temples and at home.
Védanta was first introduced to yoga asanas as a physical activity during his youth through tennis training. However, it wasn’t until later—after sustaining a shoulder injury from tennis—that he deepened his asana practice to support his recovery. He went on to study and practice Ashtanga Yoga with his teacher, Paramaguru Sharath Jois, in Mysore, who authorized him at Level 2.
In addition, Vedanta is an Ayurvedic practitioner and a Level 1 therapist. He also studied Natural Health Science at the International Institute of Mahayoga and Natural Hygiene (IMANAH). Drawing on the knowledge he gained there, he supports people's healing from various illnesses using natural methods. Védanta also studies the philosophy of Advaita Vedanta. His teachings emphasize breath, silence, focus, and inner strength. He often incorporates meditation, pranayama, and mantra chanting into his sessions, sharing the full spectrum of practices he has embraced on his spiritual path.
